If you only need an acknowledgement, Yes, however the signer of the document must be present in order for the notarization to take place. If you need an oath or affirmation, you must sign the document in front of the Notary Public. It is your responsibility to know what level of processing and/or document verification is needed. Please contact the agency requesting your documents if you're unsure.

No, but I can emboss in addition to the stamp! (According to the Arizona Notary Public Reference Manual Chap 2, A notary public may use an embosser, sometimes referred to as a crimper, but may only do so in conjunction with the use of a rubber stamp notary seal.)
If your document requires a witness signature, yes we will need a witness. Please make sure your witness brings a valid and current form of identification.
If you, the signer, do not have a valid ID with you, you may bring a "credible witness" who knows you personally however, they must bring a valid and current form of identification. If you have neither a credible witness or valid ID, I cannot notarize your document.
I am allowed by law to describe the types of notarial acts and explain the difference between acknowledgements and jurats, however I cannot choose which act I should perform based on the documents. That is chosen and advised by the signer. If you are unsure, please refer back to the receiving agency of the document or your attorney.
